During the X-factor competition, all the contestants including One Direction released a cover of David Bowie's “Heroes” in support of the charity Help for Heroes. Help for Heroes, is a British charity helped injured Service men and women wounded since September 11, 2001.  On the final X-factor show, November 20, 2010 all the contestants performed the song and on November 25, 2010 both the UK singles charts and Irish singles charts hit #1. In the course of being together, One Direction had published 3 books. The books had special snippets, pictures never seen before in public and written events of every member of One Direction.  The first book, One Direction: Forever Young even made the UKs Sunday Times best sellers list!
